Labels should be easier to remove June 9, 2009

I have no complaints about the baskets themselves.

br /However the manufacturer should know that these are often submerged in ponds and thus their labels should be easier to remove. There are two adhesive paper labels on this basket. One label is 6" x 3" full color and serves no purpose for somebody buying these online. The other label is 2-5/8" x 1-1/2" with the UPC and manufacturer info.

br /The labels are difficult to remove, shredding apart when pulled, and if not removed before they are placed in the pond, the labels will come off in the pond, which is not too attractive and could potentially clog an intake or filter. I'm going to soak them in a bucket.

br /Similar baskets that I bought at Home Depot had just one UPC sticker, which easily came off in one piece.
